SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access website SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area every day. The assistance stage designed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to status sassa Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
